VIA cement tiles at the University of the Arts

EM2N, the planners of the canteen at Zurich University of the Arts, opted for the small VIA triangles in grey-green and white. The fresh pattern unfolds its full, two-dimensional effect on the floor and walls.

Contrary to the opinion that large rooms need large patterns, you can see here that the small pattern emphasises the spacious effect of the canteen. The triangles also trace the paths of the students.
