Cement tiles for hallway and entrance

The calling card of the house! The entrance area welcomes you every day - for a lifetime.

Even today, cement tiles and terrazzo tiles can still be found in entrances from the turn of the century. VIA cement mosaic tiles are a good choice for renovating houses from the Wilhelminian era. This restores the original condition and preserves the value of the house.

Even in such a narrow hallway with a width of just over 1.20 metres, a carpet can be used to create an inviting entrance.

The pattern is an Art Nouveau design from Barcelona.

Impressive entrance and reception area with black and white VIA terrazzo tiles

Elegant Art Decó ornament - the pattern can be wonderfully combined with many tiles from the VIA range - as here in the magnificent entrance at VIA in Bacharach.

Pattern N° 710660

Entrance with diagonally laid terrazzo tiles from VIA

The striped terrazzo tile can be laid to form rombes. Combined with N° 711052, it can also be used to create serrated and longitudinal stripes. Like all terrazzo tiles, the stripes can also be combined with bordered and plain tiles.

Pattern N° 710952

VIA terrazzo tiles in the hallway

VIA produces two versions of this terrazzo pattern - here the lighter version with the white rombe. The pattern can be laid as a classic 3D pattern or as a star.

Classic two-colour cement tile in black and white in the hallway

Diagonally patterned tiles make rooms appear larger and in old buildings, sloping, non-rectangular walls are less noticeable. To achieve this effect, it is important that the pattern is not framed with plain tiles, but simply runs into the wall.

Noble and robust

VIA terrazzo tiles are particularly popular in entrance areas. Patterns are always less sensitive than plain tiles.

Wilhelminian style

Pattern N° 11860 fits perfectly into this Wilhelminian-style hallway.

The black of the staircase, the mouldings and the hall cupboard are picked up and the colour of the entrance door also matches the classic cement tile, which has been a permanent fixture in the VIA range for more than 15 years.
