The terrazzo tiles in white, N° 900001 and black, N° 900060 bring grandezza to the new Wilhelm Alexander restaurant in Berlin's Humboldt Forum.
The diagonal installation opens up the spacious rooms.
VIA Terrazzo rough - the rough terrazzo has Carrara marble split as an aggregate.
That' s where the name comes from and all the tiles, both the plain tiles and the
patterns, have the same Carrara grit visible in the surface, which is why even black
plain tiles are much lighter in colour with the coarse terrazzo than with the fine terrazzo.
In the case of VIA terrazzo with the finer grain size, the aggregate is always a coloured
lime chippings to match the coloured cement mass.
