For the Brot & Butter store at Manufactum in Stuttgart, the renowned Berlin-based architectural firm Gonzales Haase AAS opted for a design that combines lightness, precision and craftsmanship. A central element of the interior design concept is the bespoke VIA panel flooring, which visually structures the space and gives it its distinctive rhythm.

At the centre of the floor area are the iconic small VIA triangular tiles, laid in three finely coordinated shades. The geometric interplay of these triangles creates gentle transitions, divides the open space into zones and guides visitors from the entrance into the café and bistro area.
The pattern is complemented by plain tiles in grey-brown No. 54, which provide points of calm and ground the overall look. The result: a harmonious yet expressive floor that perfectly complements the light-coloured natural materials and the open architecture.
