Philipp Starck is a big VIA Terrazzo fan, so this simple, former utility room or kitchen pattern with the matching "taxi edge" can be found in his private homes. The Starck office also has the terrazzo tiles in the entrance area of the elegant Hotel Eden au Lac in Zurich, where VIA is the door opener.
This pattern and the long corridor to the VIA colour workshop can also be found in Bacharach. Despite being over 30 metres long, the carpets that form a kind of rhythm do not turn it into a "tube".
